Project Summary

This 30” spot was designed to show Bryan Health’s network and efforts to improve the health and wellness of those living in Nebraska.

I collaborated with StoryFind and Swanson Russell to develop the overall concept and was responsible for all the design and animation work.

Project Notes

All the topology in the animation is accurate to the region, albeit exaggerated since Nebraska is pretty flat. I used a C4D plugin for this called DEM Earth which generates dynamic digital elevation models.

There was no easy method for generating the roads. I could get them from DEM Earth but each road was made up of many small lines which made animating them a complete nightmare. In the end I bit the bullet and retraced every single road in Illustrator. Then I used an AE plugin called FoxReveal, which can reveal complex path structures (like roads) from any point with one click. Magic :)
