Project Summary

I was asked to animate a suite of Visa eGift Card animations for socials channels. The concept and artwork was provided by the creative geniuses over at Helsinki and the project was impeccably managed by Filmtime.

Project Notes

The ribbon and light-line elements had to be re-created by myself so they could be animated. I made both elements using Cinema 4D.

For the ribbon and bow I’m sweeping a rectangle along some animated splines. The splines are animated using the morph deformer and a linear field.

For the light-line I’m using an animated texture (which I created in AE) and the texture is applied to a plane that conforms to a spline using the Spline Wrap deformer.
